Outside the light house

Description

Spotting the eye of the light house from the foghorns. It originally used a oil vapor lamp that burned pressurized kerosene, but was later illuminated with a 1000 wat electric bulb when the coast guard took control and installed electricity in the 40's. The last of the light houses in the contiguous USA with an in-tact and operable clamshell style lens and mercury bearing, they only illuminate it a few times a year due to being obsolete.
